Starting from the actual application of advanced control software, this paper explains how to solve the design problem of the operation interface between advanced control software and DCS. Since advanced control
software and DCS are in different operating environments, DCS is process-oriented and its control function is implemented in the process control unit; while advanced control software
realizes the "card edge" or advanced control of the production process on the basis of basic control, and its control algorithm is generally implemented in the monitoring computer or PC. Manufacturers of advanced control software provide different types of
I/O drivers for DCS to realize information exchange between the two. The operator interface that reflects this information on the DCS is usually designed by each user.
