Design and application of modular inverter power supply Abstract: This paper discusses the application scenarios and design features of modular inverter power supply, and takes the inverter power supply used in a directional gyroscope as an example to introduce the design process of modular inverter power supply. Keywords: Modular inverter power supply, VICOR module, table lookup method, regular sampling II method, SPWM, PAM At present, inverter technology has been widely used in various fields of the national economy. Many companies at home and abroad have been able to produce standard inverter power supplies with mature technology. These products have more functions, better performance, and can adapt to more complex load conditions, but the control scheme is more complicated, the volume is larger, and the price is expensive. They are suitable for centralized power supply in laboratories and workshops. With the further popularization and application of inverter technology, more and more products and equipment require inverter power supplies to be modularized like DC power supplies and become part of the product or equipment. Usually in such occasions, the inverter power supply requires a smaller capacity, a single load, and controlled volume and cost. Obviously, it is not appropriate to use a standard inverter power supply solution. This requires careful consideration of the system solution, simplified control, and reduced volume and cost while ensuring performance indicators. This article takes the modular inverter power supply used in a new type of torpedo directional gyro as an example to introduce the design and application of modular inverter power supply. The load in this example is inductive, and the output voltage has a switching process. In situations where the output voltage is required to be fixed, the voltage switching part can be removed. The power supply of this module is a three-phase 400Hz inverter power supply, 24VDC input, and the output voltage is required to be 68V within 30s of power on, at which time the load current is 3A; after 30s, the starting process of the gyro ends, and the output voltage is required to be switched to 36V without interruption, and provide 1A load current, voltage regulation accuracy of 2%, and input and output isolation. The module size is no more than 120mm×130mm×50mm.
