I think your problem is a little bit. If the chip you choose for your project is CPLD, then full compilation should be able to successfully generate pof. If it is FPGA, it should be able to generate sof, and there should be other options in the selection box above. If the chip you choose is CPLD, and pof cannot be generated, it should be that the software cracking is not done correctly, or it is not fully compiled.
