[Raspberry Pi 3B+ Review] System Installation [Copy link]

This post was last edited by DDZZ669 on 2018-9-11 20:43 In the previous post 【Raspberry Pi 3B+ Review】Unboxing and Hardware Review, I appreciated the hardware of Raspberry Pi and installed the Raspberry Pi system this time. The first thing is to prepare the TF card and card reader. The previous post has the model of TF I used. Then download the system from the official website of Raspberry Pi, as shown below: There are two versions, NOOBS and PASPBIAN. Of course, there are other third-party systems below the webpage: First select NOOBS, this installation method is slightly simpler. The installation method of PASPBIAN will be introduced in the first floor of this post: time: Click NOOBS, and the following figure will appear: There are two versions. Select the offline version on the left. You can click ZIP download to download, but it is slow. I downloaded Torrent, and then downloaded it faster in Thunder. The final downloaded file is NOOBS_v2_8_2.zip. Unzip it to the TF card. All files look like this: Then insert it into the Raspberry Pi. Next, we need a screen. If you don't have a screen for the first installation, it will be difficult to operate. After the first installation and configuration, you can use your computer screen as a display through remote login. The specific operation of remote login will be introduced in the next post I now have a monitor with a VGA interface, and I borrowed a VGA to HDMI adapter to connect the screen to the HDMI interface of the Raspberry Pi. In addition, find a mouse and keyboard to plug into the USB port, which will be used for system configuration later. My connection is as follows: After all devices are connected, finally plug in the power (power bank) and turn on the computer. The following interface will appear. There are two systems that can be installed. We can connect to WIFI first. After connecting to WIFI, there will be several more systems to choose from. Let's first choose the first Raspbian system experience. There is a cross in the box after selection, which is very strange. It should be more reasonable to show a check mark. Then click Install in the upper left corner to start the installation. In addition, there is a country option at the bottom. You can choose China. There is another option behind it that I don't understand, so don't change it yet. Installation in progress... It will take about 20 minutes... Wait... System installation completed, starting up After installation, a prompt box similar to the following will appear, for configurations such as language, region, WIFI, and login password. Finally, there will be a system update Check For Updates. This update will be time-consuming, so you can skip it first. Click Skip. Finally, it will show Setup Complete. Click Reboot to activate the settings just made. To restart, click the Raspberry icon in the upper left corner of the desktop. A drop-down menu will pop up, and select Shutdown. In this way, the system installation using NOOBS is complete!

This post was last edited by DDZZ669 on 2018-9-11 21:52 [1st floor continues to introduce the RASPBIAN system installation method] First download the system from the Raspberry Pi official website, as shown below, select the one with the desktop version on the left. The final download is a 2018-06-27-raspbian-stretch.zip file. Note that after decompression this time, there is only one 2018-06-27-raspbian-stretch.img image file (Raspberry Pi system). This installation method requires downloading a Win32DiskImager gadget, which is used to directly burn the image file to the TF card, and the system is installed. After downloading, install it. There is no need to introduce the installation. Click the "Next" installation method. Then open the software and start burning the system, as shown in the figure below. The image file is the downloaded image file, and the device is your own TF card. Click to write. Burning is in progress. . . It takes about 5 minutes, which is not too slow. After the burning is completed, the TF card will become two, as shown in the figure below: In this way, the system is ready. According to the above connection method, connect the Raspberry Pi to the screen, mouse, keyboard, insert the TF card with the system burned, and turn on the computer. At the beginning, the following screen appeared on my screen, which seemed to indicate that the voltage was low. After all, the required current is 2.5A, and my power bank only has 2A. After waiting for a while, the system desktop will appear. The desktop screen that appears is as shown in the figure below. The system configuration is still performed first. The RASPBIAN system installation method is completed. This method actually burns the system to the TF card first. The TF card is equivalent to the system hard disk of the Raspberry Pi. It can be used after inserting it into the Raspberry Pi.
