TLC2543C, TLC2543I 12-bit switched capacitor successive approximation analog-to-digital converter [Copy link]

TLC2543 is a 12-bit switched capacitor successive approximation analog-to-digital converter produced by Texas Instruments. It has three control inputs and can be easily connected to a microcomputer using a simple 3-wire SPI serial interface. It is one of the best choice devices for 12-bit data acquisition systems. The connection between TLC2543 and the peripheral circuit is simple. The three control inputs are CS (chip select), input/output clock (I/O CLOCK) and serial data input (DATA INPUT). The 14-channel multiplexer on the chip can select any one of the 11 inputs or one of the three internal self-test voltages. The sample-hold is automatic. When the conversion is completed, the EOC output becomes high. The main features of TLC2543 are as follows: ●11 analog input channels; ●66ksps sampling rate; ●Maximum conversion time is 10μs; ●SPI serial interface; ●Maximum linearity error is ±1LSB; ●Low supply current (1mA typical value); ●Power-down mode current is 4μA.
