MSM8940 Processor Overview

Snapdragon 435 is manufactured using a 28nm process and is equipped with eight Cortex-A53 processing cores with a main frequency of 1.4GHz. It is also equipped with an Adreno 505 GPU and supports a 1080p display at up to 60fps. In terms of communication, the Snapdragon 435 is equipped with an X8 communication module and is the first processor in the Snapdragon 400 series to support Cat.7 LTE networks. The Snapdragon 435 supports 802.11 ac Wi-Fi and Quick Charge 3.0, as well as 1080p video recording and a camera with up to 21 megapixels.

MSM8660 Processor Overview

MSM8660 is a mobile processor of Qualcomm's Snapdragon S3 series. MSM8660 and MSM8260 are collectively called MSM8x60. These two chips support slightly different 3G network standards. MSM8x60 is the world's first 1.5GHz mobile asynchronous dual-core processor.

The MSM8x60 chipset uses 45nm process technology, equipped with a dual-core Scorpion CPU with a single-core speed of up to 1.7GHz and an Adreno220 GPU. There are currently three versions of 1.2GHz, 1.5GHz and 1.7GHz on the market. These two chips can meet the needs of multitasking, advanced gaming and entertainment, and integrate HSPA +, WCDMA, CDMA2000 1X and EV-DO Rev. A / B, GSM, GPRS and EDGE connectivity.
