Research on Embedded Linux Operating System [Copy link]

Based on the research of Linux kernel and Linux application environment, the method of operating system module decomposition and improvement is adopted to realize the embedded Linux operating system that can run on
different system on chip (SoC) hardware platforms. The decomposed and improved modules include: platform
-dependent transplantation of boot code; design of memory management module without memory management unit (MMU) support; real-time
improvement ; miniaturization design of file system. These modules can be combined according to requirements to meet different development boards and applications. In addition, the embedded Linux
development method is summarized. The prototype system of embedded Linux on two hardware platforms with different architectures is completed. Test data shows that the improved Linux
can meet the requirements of embedded operating environment and can stably provide application services with certain functions.
