Four-quadrant DC/DC zero-voltage switching quasi-resonant Roche converter [Copy link]

Abstract: Multi-quadrant operation is usually required in industrial applications. Zero voltage switching (ZVS) technology can significantly reduce the power loss when the switch turns from the off state to the on state. However, the zero voltage switching converters discussed in most articles only operate in a single quadrant. The four-quadrant DC/DC zero voltage switching quasi-resonant Roche converter introduced in this paper is a new type of converter that can operate in four quadrants and uses soft switching technology. It can effectively reduce power loss and thus improve power transmission efficiency. The experimental test results verify the analysis and calculations in this article. Keywords: soft switching technology, zero voltage switching, quasi-resonant converter
