Why are IT industry leaders doing all the things they once said they would never do? [Copy link]

In this world, we often get slapped in the face for what we said in the past, but as celebrities, many of the things we said will be remembered by the public, such as Jack Ma said that he would never enter the game industry, Lei Jun said that he would only make high-end brands, etc. Let's take a look at the things that the IT industry leaders resolutely refused to do, but are now doing.
1. Luo Yonghao
When Luo Yonghao first made the Hammer phone, he was questioned by many people. However, nowadays, you can occasionally see a Hammer Technology phone on the street. Before the phone was released, some netizens said that Luo Yonghao's phone would not be priced above 1,999 yuan, but Luo Yonghao responded: If it is less than 2,500 yuan, I am your grandson. However, by last year, the price of the Hammer phone started at 1,980 yuan.
2. Lei Jun
A few years ago, Xiaomi mobile phones were very popular, especially the hunger marketing, which greatly improved the popularity of Xiaomi mobile phones. As early as 2012, Lei Jun said: Xiaomi focuses on high-performance and cost-effective mobile phones, and does not make mid- and low-end configurations. But three months later, Xiaomi launched the 799 Redmi mobile phone.
3. Zhang Jindong
[font= Arial, Verdana, Zhang Jindong is the chairman of Suning. He once said that he would not do e-commerce because he thought it was not mainstream. But later facts proved that he recognized e-commerce and increased his turnover through e-commerce.
4. Liu Qiangdong.
[font=Arial, Verdana, Liu Qiangdong said in 2010 that JD.com would not get involved in the book industry within five years, but at the end of the same year, JD.com launched the JD.com Mall Book Channel.
5. Zhou Hongyi
Zhou Hongyi is the chairman of 360. He once said that he would not make anti-virus software, but later 360's anti-virus software monopolized the entire market.
6. Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs once said: No one will ever want to buy a large-screen mobile phone.
It has been proven that large-screen mobile phones are very popular.
7. Jack Ma.
Ma Yun’s I am not interested in money, which made Sa Beining almost unable to hold back. Jack Ma once said: We would rather die than make games.
But in 2014, Alibaba announced its entry into mobile games.
Times are changing, so don't listen to what the big guys said a long time ago. Just like people used to say that IT is not suitable for girls to study, there are still many female programmers now. And nearly half of the students in Lanzhou Beida Jade Bird are female. After graduation, they are recommended by the school and their jobs are not worse than those of boys.
