CMX018 is a new type of FM/FSK wireless receiving chip launched by CML. It contains dual-gain mode low noise amplifier, 2-stage array frequency converter (mixer), integrated oscillator, limiting amplifier, temperature compensated received signal strength indicator, FM/FSK demodulator and zero power mode control circuits. It can be used with CMX017 to realize UHF wireless connection. This article gives the structure, principle, characteristics and application circuit of CMX018.
