Is it possible to install mplab x on Windows 7? [Copy link]

I installed MPLab X IDE on Win 7 and it got to about 80% when it failed to install because of missing files. I downloaded it from the official website. I wonder if anyone has encountered the same problem.

There should be no problem. See if there is a runtime library missing.
