There are two main development environments for AURIX, HighTec and Tasking. There is a free entry-level software, and the commercial versions are all charged. The software costs are high. The mainstream debuggers include the cheap entry-level miniwiggler, the professional-level UAD and 3.3 Lautebach. Most companies will consider free software + miniwiggler when they first use AURIX.
1.1 HighTec
1.1.1 HighTec Download
Infineon's official website provides one year of free compilation tool chain HighTec. After one year, you can reapply. It is basically free forever. Download address from the official website: http://free-entry-toolchain.hightec-rt.com/. When applying for a license, you need to fill in a form. Just fill it out truthfully and the application will be successful. Pay attention to the MAC address column. You must fill in the MAC of the computer you want to install, otherwise the license will not be successful after installation. So when you install the license you applied for on another computer, it will not be successful. You need to apply again for another computer. After the application is successful, you can download the software and the license file will be sent via email. 1.1.2 HighTec Installation After downloading, install HighTec. It will be installed by default all the way. When prompted whether to install UDE, select Yes. After the installation is complete, you need to copy the license file received by email to the installation path\License folder to complete the license. After the installation is complete, you may not be able to use HighTec software immediately, because HighTec software is based on the ECLIPSE platform and requires the installation of the Java runtime environment JRE or JDK.
1.2Tasking
I applied for a one-month trial version of Tasking. Tasking integrates a GUI configuration interface, which is convenient to operate. Tasking integrates ILLD, unlike HighTec, which requires you to do it yourself. Because the company's plan to purchase Tasking is far away, the main focus is still on HighTec.
I will continue to share my experience in developing AURIX TC275 with HighTec software in the future, and hope that forum friends who have used it can discuss it together.
