DC-DC negative voltage output chip use [Copy link]

This post was last edited by 静得观看 on 2017-12-15 20:42 LTC is a DC-DC chip that inputs a positive voltage and outputs a corresponding negative voltage. When it is used, can the circuit connection be as shown in the figure above? Can pins 1, 6, and 7 be left floating? What kind of packaging do the two capacitors in the figure generally use?

Look at the datasheet carefully. The output load capacity of LTC1144 is relatively large among charge pump chips.   Details Published on 2017-12-15 21:43

How to output negative voltage if V+ is not connected to a positive power supply?

It needs to be connected, but it's not specifically connected. Is there any problem with the other parts?  Details Published on 2017-12-15 21:32

Read the manual carefully, and leave the floating parts floating. Just follow the instructions. LTC1144 is an integrated circuit for charge pump boost. It is used in situations where the output current is not large and the driving capacity is small.

The output of LTC1144 is connected to the op amp, so as long as the output current of LTC1144 is greater than the input current of the op amp, it will be fine, right?  Details Published on 2017-12-15 21:35
