ON Semiconductor has been recognized by Intel Corporation with the Preferred Quality Supplier (PQS) Award for its outstanding performance in providing products and services that are integral to Intel's success. 　　"We are thrilled and encouraged to receive this prestigious PQS award in 2003," said Keith Jackson, President and CEO of ON Semiconductor. "We are honored to be selected as one of Intel's top suppliers. "This PQS award reflects ON Semiconductor's commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of its business." 　　The PQS award is part of Intel's supplier quality continuous improvement process to gain the support of suppliers to achieve its aggressive goals of improving quality and reducing costs. The award is based on the supplier's ability to meet technical, quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness goals. Suppliers must also commit to developing and implementing annual progressive improvement plans and completing formal quality assessments.
