The Second China Power Industry Summit Forum and the Sino-US High-efficiency Power Energy Saving Certification Project Seminar were also held at the same time. The conference brought together senior people from all parties in the power supply industry and promoted exchanges and cooperation between enterprises and between the business community, academia, government agencies, and news media. 　　Before the meeting, the China Power Society and the American Power Association exchanged their logos and certificates. At the ceremony, China and the United States reached a "mutual membership" agreement. The agreement clearly stated that the two international industry organizations will provide each other with opportunities to participate in activities and join related organizations. This move aims to strengthen and consolidate cooperation between the two organizations and promote information exchange. This indicates that the cooperation between the Chinese and American power supply industry organizations and even the Chinese and American power supply communities will surely develop in a deeper and broader direction. 　　On the first day of the meeting, Mr. Ji Guoping, Director of the Electronic Information Product Management Department of the Ministry of Information Industry, Mr. Arnold Alderman, Chairman of the American Power Supply Association, Mr. Leo Lorenz, Chairman of the European Power Electronics Center, Mr. Christophe Basso, Application Technology Engineer of ON Semiconductor, Professor Zhang Weizuo, Senior Consultant of International Rectifier, Manager Liu Xuanzhong of Tencent Technology Asia Pacific Co., Ltd., Researcher Zhang Guangming of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Associate Professor Zhang Naiguo of Tsinghua University gave wonderful reports, which were generally warmly welcomed by the delegates. 　　On the second day of the meeting, an informal agenda was held. The meeting focused on and deeply discussed the market and technology related issues in the fields of communication power supply and UPS. Leaders from large enterprises and users expressed their views and reached a consensus on strengthening cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the organizer, the China Power Supply Society, also widely solicited opinions from the delegates on the preparation of the "China Electronic Power Supply Industry Association" and answered relevant questions. 　　At the same time, the Sino-US High-efficiency Power Supply Energy-saving Certification Project Seminar was held at the same time. At the meeting, the technical requirements for the certification of external AC-DC and AC-AC energy-saving products jointly formulated by the China Certification and Certification Center (formerly the China Energy-saving Product Certification Center) and the US Environmental Protection Agency's "Energy Star" project were officially released. The two organizations also announced that they would officially launch the certification in China and the United States respectively from that day on.
