Avago Technologies Inc. recently announced that it has decided to expand its cooperation with TSMC in the field of CMOS image sensors. Through this plan, TSMC will provide foundry services for Avago's next two generations of CMOS image sensor products. TSMC has now begun to provide foundry services for Avago's 1.3 and 2 megapixel sensors. Avago was originally a semiconductor project group of Agilent Technologies Inc.
