A high-quality electronic ballast [Copy link]

A high-quality electronic ballast.
To celebrate the opening of the new forum, I am uploading my latest design. This product has been trial-produced in several Korean electronics companies and can pass certification in various countries for your reference. It has the following features:
● Rated voltage: 85-265V, AC50/60Hz
● Rated power: 2×40W
● Power factor > 0.998
● Harmonic content < 6%
● Current crest factor < 1.45
● Soft start circuit design
● Anti-impact voltage and surge current
● Complete protection functions, including overvoltage, overcurrent, overload and lamp shortage protection
● Variable frequency preheating start, preheating frequency and preheating time can be set by yourself
● Accurate and stable operating frequency (typical operating frequency 45KHz)
● Operating temperature is -25℃—+125℃
● If one lamp fails, the other lamp continues to work at the original power

Key components are produced:
1. The switch transformer T1
is viewed from the top view

and uses an EI28 core and ¢0.41mm enameled wire. Wind 100 turns between pins 1-5 and 9 turns between pins 7-9. Pins 1 and 9 are the same-named ends. Add a 1.0 mm air gap.
2. The push transformer T2
is viewed from the top view and

uses an EE16mm core and ¢0.41mm enameled wire. Wind 24 turns between pins 1-2 and 5-6 and 32 turns between pins 3-4. Pins 1, 4 and 5 are the same-named ends.
3. The output transformers T3 and T4
are viewed from the top view and

use an EE25mm core and ¢0.41mm enameled wire. Wind 140 turns between pins 2-5 and 5 turns between pins 1-6. Pins 2 and 6 are the same-named ends. Adjust the air gap so that the inductance between pins 2-5 is about 2.3mH.

Note:
This ballast solution can be easily changed to single tube 40W, 3×40W and 4×40W.
There is a PCB Layout diagram drawn with Protel99. If you need it, please let me know.
