Haier microcontroller chip is suitable for motor control applications such as electric vehicles [Copy link]

Shanghai Haier Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. announced that its HR6P78 microcontroller chip has begun to be launched on the market. This is the latest product in the company's HR6P series 8-bit microcontroller product line. It not only has the excellent features shared by other products in the series, but also contains a motor control module, which is very suitable for motor control applications such as electric vehicles. Its launch further enriches Haier's popular HR6P series MCU product line.
The HR6P series is a high-performance industrial-grade 8-bit microcontroller product line developed by Shanghai Haier Integrated Circuit. Since last year, the series has successively launched seven products, including HR6P62, HR6P72, HR6P73, HR6P73B, HR6P73H, HR6P76, and HR6P77. Since its launch, the HR6P series chips have quickly won the favor of customers with their excellent anti-interference characteristics and excellent cost-effectiveness, and have been widely used in home appliances, electric vehicles, electricity meters, industrial control and other fields.
The HR6P series microcontrollers are all based on an 8-bit processor architecture independently developed by Haier Integrated Circuit. The architecture is a reduced instruction set (RISC), containing 35 or 48 instructions, using a Harvard structure with separate data bus and instruction bus, and the instructions have the characteristics of single words, which greatly improves the efficiency of instruction execution and is easy for users to learn.
The operating frequency of this series of chips is DC~20MHz, the instruction cycle is 1us~200ns, and the 8-level hardware stack structure contains 10~15 interrupts respectively. They all include three addressing modes: direct, indirect and relative addressing, and support sleep mode and programming code protection. At the same time, the HR6P series also has a wealth of peripheral modules, including power-on reset circuit, watchdog, timer/counter, CCP, ADC, as well as high-speed SPI, high-speed I2C, and high-speed USART interfaces, etc., and a complete single-chip control system can be formed by adding a few simple peripheral devices.
The HR6P series has an embedded OTP program memory with a capacity ranging from 2K×16bit to 8K×16bit, and a data memory capacity ranging from 128 bytes to 368 bytes. In order to bring customers higher flexibility, Haier Integrated Circuit will launch versions of all products with embedded Flash program memory in the near future.
This series of chips fully complies with industrial standards, with a temperature range of -40℃~85℃, and excellent electromagnetic compatibility, with ESD exceeding 8kV and EFT exceeding 4KV/2.5KHz. This series of chips also performed well in some other tests, including high and low temperature, high and low voltage, voltage mutation, alternating damp heat, hot and cold shock, surge, voltage sag and short interruption, and RF electromagnetic field conduction immunity (RS).
In order to facilitate customer adoption, the design of the HR6P series chips takes into account both innovation and continuity. On the one hand, this series of chips contains unique new technologies, such as unique MCU architecture, mixed signal working mode, sleep mechanism, power-on reset circuit, code protection mode, low-power sleep mode, etc., and has obtained multiple patents and layout design copyrights; on the other hand, whether for system design or software, this series of chips can be easily replaced with corresponding industry standard products, thereby reducing customers' development costs and learning difficulties.
