Avanex, a provider of intelligent photonic solutions for next-generation optical networks, announced today that it will showcase a series of new products at OFC2006, which will be held from March 5th to 10th. Its booth number is 2640.

　　"As we near the end of our corporate restructuring, we are excited to be launching a number of innovative products at this show that we believe will be instrumental to our future growth. These new products include optical amplification, dispersion compensation, advanced modulation, low-cost monitoring, and smart subsystems," said Jo Major, president and CEO of Avanex. "We have seen a lot of business opportunities for these products. The new products, along with our newly integrated factory, will put us in a very advantageous position for future competition."

　　Avanex will also release a lot of information about new products at the show. In addition, Yves LeMaitre, vice president and general manager of Avanex's optical components business, will speak at the OSA Executive Forum on March 6.
