Holtek has added new members to its HT86XXX Voice MCU series, the HT86030 and HT86070, which have 768K-bit and 1536K-bit data ROM respectively. The functional features of the HT86030 and HT86070 are the same as those of the original HT86XXX series, but the number of I/Os is reduced to 16, and a set of 16-bit timer and Real Time Clock are omitted, making the price more competitive. The HT86XXX series of voice microcontrollers (Voice MCUs) are suitable for various high-quality voice products. The current members include HT86030, HT86070, HT86072, HT86144, HT86192, HT86384, HT86576, and HT86768, with voice capacity ranging from 36 seconds to 768 seconds. The HT86xxx series contains Holtek's standard 8-bit controller, and is equipped with a high-resolution mono 12-bit DAC, 16~23 I/Os, external interrupts, external reset, and Real Time Clock (HT86030/HT86070 does not have Real Time Clock), and its functions are extremely flexible. The HT86XXX series can not only be developed into toy products and voice players, but also can be used with Holtek's HT16XX LCD Driver or HT67XX contactless identification IC (RFID) to develop a variety of voice products. In terms of product development, the HT86XXX series uses Holtek's powerful HT-ICE as the development environment, and also supports C language and assembly language/C language mixed mode, making your product development faster and easier.
