Usage and maintenance of EFI Fukang LPG dual fuel car[Copy link]
10. After the copper pipe joints of the LPG liquid pipeline are disassembled, new pipe joints should be replaced. After repair, a combustible gas leak detector or soapy water or other methods should be used to check the sealing of the corresponding positions.
Daily maintenance
1. During use, check whether the connection of the gas cylinder and the pipeline is good, and whether there is interference and leakage.
2. Before the engine is started, the evaporator should not work, and no liquefied petroleum gas should be discharged. If there is a bad smell, soapy water can be used to smear each joint. If bubbles are blown, it indicates leakage. Professionals should be asked to repair it in time.
3. In case of fire, the ignition key should be turned off, the manual valve of the gas cylinder outlet should be closed, and the fire should be extinguished with a dry powder fire extinguisher, and the gas cylinder should be cooled down.
4. Any repairs are prohibited in the filling plant and LPG filling station. If a fault occurs, it should be pushed out of the site (station) area and repaired in a safe area.
5. Before repairing automotive electrical equipment, it must be confirmed that there is no LPG gas around the liquefied petroleum gas device.
Regular maintenance
After a certain mileage, you should go to the Shenlong Automobile Service Station for regular maintenance. An inspection is required every 5,000 km. The main items are: check whether the LPG system has leaks; check and adjust the idle speed, air-fuel ratio tester status, CO, and HC content when the engine is hot. Cleaning is required every 10,000 km, mainly cleaning the evaporator pressure reducer diaphragm; cleaning the mixer and cleaning the LPG cut-off solenoid valve.
In addition, every two years of use, it is necessary to go to the pressure vessel inspection department for inspection, mainly to inspect the gas cylinder, and check the date, mark, certificate, etc.
Maintenance operation method
1. Adjustment of the air-fuel ratio tester
When the engine uses liquefied petroleum gas, the system adjusts the air-fuel ratio of the mixture through the air-fuel ratio tester and displays the working status of the system at the same time. The air-fuel ratio of the mixture is displayed by the on or off of the indicator light. The indicator light is always on, indicating that the mixture is rich, and the indicator light is always off, indicating that the mixture is lean; the indicator light flashes, indicating that the mixture is normal. The indicator light of the air-fuel ratio tester is also the switch for the system to adjust the air-fuel ratio. For vehicles equipped with an air-fuel ratio tester, the air-fuel ratio tester can be used directly for adjustment. For vehicles without an air-fuel ratio tester, a special tool for the air-fuel ratio tester is required for adjustment.
The adjustment method of the air-fuel ratio tester is: switch the engine to the LPG state, wait for the engine water temperature to rise above 80℃, keep the engine speed at around 3500r/min, press the air-fuel ratio tester until the indicator light of the air-fuel ratio tester flashes more than three times in a row, and then release it.
Poor adjustment of the air-fuel ratio tester will cause the engine to idle unstable or stall at idle, slow acceleration, unqualified exhaust emissions and other faults.
2. Adjustment of the engine idle speed when burning LPG
Keep the engine in the idle state, adjust the idle adjustment screw with a spring on the evaporator until the air-fuel ratio tester light starts to flash, and when it exceeds its adjustment range, the adjustment screw with a locking nut can be appropriately adjusted. The engine idle speed should be 850±50r/min.
3. Cleaning of evaporator diaphragm
Follow the safety operation specifications, remove the evaporator, dismantle the first and second decompression chambers, and use neutral warm soapy water and a soft brush to clean all contaminated rubber parts in the evaporator, and also remove the attachments on the metal parts. Note that it is forbidden to use carburetor cleaning agents to clean rubber parts. During installation, all cover bolts should be tightened symmetrically 2-3 times.
