Heating film/heating sheet/heating film wiring principle and design guidance (I) [Copy link]

When designing a heating sheet, we need to choose the right heating material and the wiring should be even, which not only meets our needs but also has a certain ornamental value.
How to draw a good electric heating film in engineering? How to draw a regular one? How to draw a special-shaped one?
For beginners, you can start by drawing regular shapes and master the calculation principles and drawing skills first.
Here's how to draw a square shape:
  1. The shape is square, which is easier to draw. When drawing, first reduce each side of the shape by 2 to 4MM to ensure that a certain space is reserved between the heating area and the shape (sometimes the shape of the heating film is too small, so at least 1MM should be reserved). After removing the reserved space, the size of the heating area is 9*82MM.
  2. In order to facilitate everyone's design, the Jiali Chuang electric heating film website has a simple calculation formula.

The red box is a required item. Please note that the value filled in for resistivity omits 0.000001. For example, the resistivity of 304 stainless steel is 7.2×10Ω·m, so the resistivity is filled in as 0.72.
  3. The size of the resistor and heating area is fixed. Adjust the variable parameters in the formula (material resistivity, thickness, assumed wire width, and number of heating wire groups), check the center line spacing, heating wire spacing, and wire width to see if the three are uniform. After adjustment, you can lay the wires. The wiring should be based on the center line spacing in the formula.
  4. After routing the wires, round the corners as much as possible, and then calculate the wire width based on the actual length. As shown in the figure above, the actual wiring length is 935MM and the wire width is 0.47MM.
Usually, the actual wiring length is different from the theoretical length, and the actual line width is determined by back-calculation! In actual drawing, you must be flexible. The more you do, the more you will know how to make the picture look fuller, more harmonious and more beautiful through more subtle adjustments!
The resistivity and thickness of commonly used heating substrates are as follows:
