Please tell me what is the working state of capacitor C when the power switch is turned off and on. [Copy link]

This post was last edited by Knight97538 on 2024-9-12 10:12

What kind of power supply structure is this circuit? What are the advantages of this structure? What type of transformer is it? Can the teacher introduce it to me? Thank you.

In addition, the input end of the transformer is connected to the power supply, and the output end of the transformer is connected in parallel with the diode, the inductor, and the capacitor, and then directly connected to the load.

I would like to ask what is the working state of capacitor C when the power switch is turned off and on, and what is the role of the capacitor?

[Please tell me what is the working state of capacitor C when the power switch is turned off and on, and what is the function of the capacitor? ] When the switch is on, the capacitor is in a charging state. When the switch is off, the capacitor is first charged and then discharged. The function of the capacitor should be filtering, which makes the voltage across the load stable.   Details Published on 2024-9-12 10:47

What is the power supply structure of this circuit?

This is a single-ended forward converter circuit.

What type of transformer is it?

In most small and medium power forward converter circuits, the transformer is a ferrite core, dry-type transformer (the opposite of dry type is oil-immersed).

This is a statement, not a question. I don't know what your question is.
