I took apart a mouse, but couldn't fix it... [Copy link]

A mouse that I had used for almost four years (bought for 20 yuan) had a problem. The phenomenon was that the mouse did not respond when the computer was turned on (occasionally 20~30%), and it was normal after re-plugging the mouse receiver. I felt that it was a problem with the receiver or the computer USB, but the problem did not recur when the mouse was connected to the computer USB (the USB seemed to have only charging function). So I thought it was a problem with the mouse battery, and then I disassembled the mouse.

Remove the screws from the bottom.

There is a screw on the side, I thought it was just for decoration, but it is rusted...

This is what it looks like after it was disassembled.

I didn't expect such a big battery, 800mAH. I'm going to measure the voltage.

4.16V voltage, the battery is fine. I think it's a communication problem. I don't know if the new computer is not suitable for this mouse.

What do you think is the problem?

So making a mold is a technical job. Sometimes there is no problem, but it just can't be restored and can't work.  Details Published on 2024-7-9 22:43

There are several possible problems with your mouse. It is hard to tell right now. It could be the receiver, the USB port is in sleep mode, or the battery is aging. Please rule them out.

I think the battery is aging, so I think it can be ruled out. Why did I think it was a battery problem at first? Because no matter how I moved the mouse, the light inside would not light up, so I thought it was a problem with the mouse battery. Also, when I plugged in and unplugged the USB receiver, the mouse worked fine. So I suspect it's either a connection problem or a USB port problem (I  Details Published on 2024-6-30 15:37

Brother Xian, you have used 20 yuan for four years, you have made full use of it and earned it back a long time ago.

Basically, the receiver has a problem... Brother Xian, give the wireless mouse manufacturer a bite of rice, and change it quickly

The mouse cursor has a noticeable delay, or freezes when moving. This is mostly due to the receiver.

It was made 4 years ago. I think 18650 accounts for one third of the cost.

At least 1/3, that circuit board doesn't feel worth the money.  Details Published on 2024-7-1 15:26

Don't you want to try a new battery? Maybe it will work.

I only have a 250mA one on hand, and I feel there is no point in replacing it, but now that you mention it, I can try changing the battery later.  Details Published on 2024-7-1 15:25

It's probably the receiver's problem. You can get a new one.
