2. Functional Description

PC4449 Product Brochure

PC4449 is a gate driver developed for high frequency and high efficiency applications. It is used to drive a half-bridge circuit composed of two NMOS. Its rail-to-rail output driver can reduce the switching loss caused by high junction capacitance MOSFE.

PC4449 provides a separate logic power supply to match the controller level, making it compatible with a variety of different signal levels. The chip contains undervoltage protection to prevent the external MOS tube from working abnormally at low voltage. PC4449 provides adaptive dead zone and direct protection to avoid losses caused by MOSFET overlap conduction.
