In MicroPython, the `network.WLAN` class provides access to Wi-Fi functions. `network.WLAN(network.STA_IF)` creates a WLAN object that supports Wi-Fi station mode. In Wi-Fi communication, there are two common modes: 1. **AP mode (Access Point, hotspot mode):** In this mode, the device acts as an access point to a Wi-Fi network, allowing other devices to connect to it and access the services it provides. 2. **Station mode:** In this mode, the device connects to an existing Wi-Fi network via Wi-Fi, just like a smartphone or computer.
