[The 3rd Xuantie Cup RISC-V Application Innovation Competition] Model building (Part 1), heat dissipation is a problem, so I came to discuss it [Copy link]

I had it on for a week and really forgot about it. I put the equipment in a box and put it in the drawer under the desk. Then I was so busy every day that I forgot about it. Fortunately, the manager reminded me to come and make up for it today.

I originally planned to use a big box to stuff all the things in, just like the interesting trash-to-treasure operations on the Internet.

But the box I had was either too big or not thick enough, and suddenly I had an idea that I could just modify the box that came with it.

It seems that the space utilization is sufficient, and the display main control plus the power supply are just right. They are all ready-made and just need to be fixed. I really want to applaud myself.

My display fits perfectly. It's perfect. I just need to make holes in the top cover to match the screws.

After the soldering iron is used, use the pointed end of the screw to start enlarging the hole, but don't make it too big.

The original plan was to have four, but two of them were crooked, so I think two will do the trick and I can just perm them.

The display screen is fixed, basically no problem. Then I have to consider the various wiring issues. I searched for a suitable knife at home but couldn't find it. Except for the fruit knife, the paper cutter was monopolized by me last time and was thrown away. So today I drew the position to be cut.

The HDMI port must be turned on
Fan cooling is definitely necessary, but I would like to ask the friends who are running, is the heat generation serious?
Will there be any problems if the heat dissipation is not good? After all, this is the first time we use RISC-V.
If I need to spread the heat better, I'll have to open more ducts for this solution. I'll have to iron out a few more holes.
The opposite side is where you connect the mouse, network port and keyboard.
Anyone who knows more can help me see how to improve the heat dissipation?
I don't have a knife at home, so I'll go and make the grooves on the entire blade and finish the upper part.
