What are your graduate supervisors like? My supervisor is very nice and responsible to me. I don’t know if he is too responsible or if he is bored at home, but he criticized me harshly when he was helping me revise my paper (I didn’t feel that the teacher attacked me, but I was a little surprised to be scolded. After all, it was my first time writing a paper, and I gave it to the teacher to revise it without even reading it myself. I just felt that it was not well written but didn’t know how to revise it). You can first download a master's degree thesis related to your undergraduate major from CNKI and then compare it with the undergraduate theses you have read. Master's theses are usually 60-80 pages long, doctoral theses are 100 pages or more, and undergraduate theses are usually only 20 to 30 pages long, except for a few with longer lengths.

We are still OK as we are still in school. Our school has not yet broken up with CNKI, so we can still download it. But it is really hard to search for papers outside of school.

There is no such thing as a hands-on guide. I think the teachers at school were not good enough.
