1. Introduction to BMP280 Bosch Micro Air Pressure Sensor BMP280

The BMP280 is an absolute barometric pressure sensor designed for mobile applications. The sensor module is housed in a very compact package. Its small size and low power consumption allow implementation in battery-powered devices such as mobile phones, GPS modules or watches.

The BMP280 , as its predecessor the BMP180, is based on Bosch's proven varistor pressure sensor technology with high accuracy, linearity, long-term stability and high EMC robustness.
