What is FRAM? [Copy link]

FRAM, also known as Ferroelectric Random Access Memory, is a memory technology that combines the non-volatility of Flash with the flexibility and low power consumption of SRAM. The MSP430 ultra-low-power microcontrollers (MCUs) integrate this mature memory technology to provide unique advantages for real-world applications.

Why Integrate FRAM into Your System?

Longer product lifecycle with near-infinite data logging capabilities
Reduces manufacturing and development time
Easily preserves user data when system power is lost
Enables flexible partitioning of program and data memory in FRAM
