Can NiMH rechargeable batteries be soldered with a 60W constant temperature soldering iron? [Copy link]

See Figure 1, four 1.2V No. 7 NiMH rechargeable batteries.


Now, we need to connect them in series.

Please ask (see attached picture 2)

Can I use a 60W constant temperature soldering iron for soldering?

Yes, but the speed must be fast enough and the soldering must be done properly. Even so, it is easy to cause damage to the internal battery, so the best way is to use a battery box.
