Shouldn't we buy chips on Taobao? [Copy link]

I have been cheated many times when buying chips from Taobao. This time I encountered this situation again. I have completely lost confidence in Taobao's original chips.

This time I bought some materials from a Tmall merchant who has bought chips many times. Among them were several OPA365 amplifiers. When I was about to solder them, I looked at the silk screen and felt that it was wrong. It was different from what I used before.

I compared them and didn't dare to use them. I contacted the merchant and took a photo. They said there was no problem. Yes, looking at it this way, there can be no problem.

The top two in the picture below are the ones I bought this time, and the bottom one is the previous stock. The bottom one has a smooth surface and clear silk screen, while the top two have rough surfaces. The middle one is smoother than the surrounding ones, and the silk screen is lighter.

The store owner was very careful and took a photo with a magnifying glass to prove that it had not been polished.

I bought some ADI and TI chips from him before, which were the same as the original samples. Because his store name had the word "Youxin", I thought he was a good buyer who was trustworthy!

It seems that you can’t trust everything you see on Taobao now!

I opened a Taobao store, and my boss scolded me. . . . I know the reason, I just wanted to attract traffic and promote. Those groups are recycling all kinds of IC materials every day, just think about what Taobao merchants are like. . . I didn’t expect that there are people who grind the wafers, which is really harmful to people. . .   Details Published on 2020-1-17 16:42

I only buy samples on Taobao and never purchase production materials on it. Even suppliers with regular billing are not safe. I asked a supplier friend and he said that because they are small businesses, their supply channels are not fixed, that is, they look for cheap goods all over the market. Even for products from large manufacturers, there are several supply channels, and they are not necessarily first-level agents, so the electronic product market is relatively chaotic. Especially some components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors must be tested.

General domestic chips are okay, they are all similar. For imported chips, it is better to find regular dealers.

I bought a 3.3V voltage regulator tube on Taobao. When I installed it, I used a multimeter to measure it and it was exactly 4.0V. . . . When I asked the seller, he said he didn’t understand. . . . .
