1. Title: OTL Power Amplifier Design

2. Design tasks and requirements:

Design and make a power amplifier circuit. The circuit design requirements are as follows:

( 1 ) Output power ≥ 5W;

( 2) Load impedance RL=8 ohms ;

( 3 ) The voltage gain A V is greater than 40 .

3. Implementation in steps:

( 1 ) Complete circuit principle design, component selection and parameter calculation;

( 2 ) Use Protel99SE to complete the schematic editing (do ERC to check the correctness of electrical connections);

( 3 ) Component footprint selection ;

( 4 ) Plan PCB layout and wiring rules;

( 5 ) Complete PCB layout and design rule checking.

4. PCB design requirements:

( 1 ) Single-sided or double-sided design;

( 2 ) Minimum line width: 20mil ( 100mil=2.54mm ), power and ground lines should be thickened;

( 3 ) The PCB size should be as small as possible;

( 4 ) The power supply, input and output must have wiring terminals;

( 5 ) The PCB layout is neat and reasonable, and the wiring rules are beautiful.

5. Requirements for the content of the design report:

( 1) Select an appropriate circuit design.

( 2) The working principle of the circuit should be explained.

( 3) Provide the selection of circuit components and parameters.

( 4) Use Protel software to draw the entire design circuit.

( 5) The design report requires smooth sentences, clear ideas and clear expressions.

"Protel99SE" is not too old. The older one is the DOS version of Protel.

Almost. When I was a senior, I was required to draw circuit diagrams. The computers in the laboratory used XP system and Protel99se. At that time, I wanted to install it on my own Windows 7, but found that the compatibility was not good and it was very troublesome to use. Later, when I was working, I also used Windows 7 system. I felt that Protel was too troublesome, so I learned AD and felt much better.

DXP was used in 2005. The DXP file must be converted into protel99 format and sent to the board factory. Remember to open it with 99SE to lay copper after the conversion.
