I am very excited to receive the new book. First of all, I would like to thank Electronic Engineering World for providing me with such a learning opportunity. I first took a quick look at the book and the overall impression was very good.

The book is very comprehensive, covering the basic principles of computer vision and digital image processing, as well as the development environment. It even includes Python introductory knowledge, making it especially suitable for readers with no basics to quickly get started. Subsequently, the book introduces the basic knowledge of image processing and the basic features of images in detail, and provides relevant code examples, which not only help deepen theoretical understanding, but also improve practical operation capabilities. Theory and practice are well combined.

In the second half, the book gradually goes deeper and introduces neural networks and image processing based on deep learning. The content includes several common modules such as image classification, image segmentation and object detection. It not only has clear principle analysis, but also practical explanations of model training and evaluation. Finally, it briefly introduces the deployment method of the model. The entire learning path is clearly arranged.

As for supporting materials, since this book was just published in September, it may not be complete enough. I did not find any relevant resources on the Tsinghua University Press website. Only some PPTs and teaching videos were provided on the WeChat public account, but I did not see the program source code mentioned in the book. I hope it can be supplemented later.

Overall, this book is a very good introductory book for beginners, especially those who are new to PyTorch and digital image processing. I look forward to further reading to gain more, and I also hope that the supporting resources can be further improved to make learning smoother.
