Digital Intelligent Motor Control Module Abstract: This paper introduces a digital intelligent motor control module that replaces the traditional motor starting device, including its system composition, main functions, experimental conditions and practical applications. Keywords: phase-shift control; single-chip microcomputer; voltage ramp start; current-limit start; soft stop; energy-saving operation As we all know, three-phase AC asynchronous motors have been widely used in various industries due to their low cost, high reliability and easy maintenance. However, it has great disadvantages when starting directly: first, its starting current is as high as 5 to 7 times the rated current, which not only has a great impact on the power grid, but also affects the service life of electrical control equipment and even affects the normal operation of other electrical equipment; second, the starting torque can reach 2 times the normal torque, which will have an impact on the load, increase the friction of the transmission parts and additional maintenance. For this reason, the three-phase asynchronous motor step-down starting device has emerged.
