Analog-to-digital (or digital-to-analog) data conversion is an important component in many forms of electronic systems, but the techniques for sampling the data raise many design questions and considerations. Part I of this webinar series will explore the fundamentals of data sampling and the impact of quantization, undersampling and oversampling, process gain, anti-aliasing filtering, and more. Part II will take a closer look at popular data converter architectures and help the audience understand how sampling, quantization, digitization occurs, and more importantly, how this affects the correct selection of a converter for a given application. This webinar will also discuss the sources of sampling anomalies that affect linearity, distortion, and noise and how to manage them.
