MSP-FET430UIF programmer upgrade, downgrade, brick recovery [Copy link]

FET430UIF writer V2 upgrades to V3. The port name of the V2 version writer is MSP-FET430UIF-VCP, and the port name of the V3 version writer is MSP-FET430UIF-CDC. The drivers of the two versions of the writer are different, please pay attention. When using the new version of Pro430 Elprotronic, it prompts that the writer needs to be upgraded, so I upgrade according to the software prompts. When the upgrade reaches 97%, it gets stuck, there is no response, and then there is endless waiting. The writer is bricked. When using IAR for MSP430, version 5.4 or above, it will also prompt the writer to upgrade. When the upgrade is almost finished, it prompts that the writer needs to be re-plugged. At this time, you need to pay attention. After re-plugging the writer, the writer's driver has changed. At this time, you must wait for the MSP-FET430UIF-CDC driver to be installed and click OK, otherwise the writer will basically become a brick. The MSP-FET430UIF-CDC driver can be found in the attachment. Note that XP and WIN7 will be slightly different
