Omni Design, a provider of high-performance, low-power data acquisition and signal processing solutions, has established a partnership with Aura Intelligent Systems, a company focused on developing high-resolution imaging radars for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles. The two parties will jointly promote the development of Aura's next-generation digital radar using Omni Design's advanced Swift data converters, analog front ends (AFEs), and supporting IP solutions.
Expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2025, this next-generation digital radar is designed to overcome the challenges faced by existing radars in densely populated urban areas, connecting and sensing through its unified MultiRay platform and leveraging Aura’s patented technology to provide interference resistance and scalability.
“Imaging radar is expected to be widely used in automotive, autonomous robotics and emerging augmented reality markets,” said Dr. Kush Gulati, President and CEO of Omni Design. “Omni Design will leverage our expertise in high-speed data acquisition and signal processing solutions to work with Aura to develop disruptive next-generation radar technology products.”
