Generally, the power of a speaker is smaller than that of an amplifier. The power of an amplifier refers to the maximum output power, and its distortion at that time is also very large.

We know that the general rated power is 80%. The power of the speaker refers to the rated power. The indicators within this range are all very good. Therefore, it is safe and reasonable to choose the power of the speaker at 80% of the amplifier power or less than 80%.

If you use one amplifier to drive two speakers, then this amplifier is usually dual-channel output. Connect two speakers separately, but do not connect the two speakers in parallel to one output terminal. The label says ~~~w * 2 8 (or 4) ohms. If the output is 8 ohms and you connect the two speakers in parallel to 4 ohms, the amplifier will be overloaded (exceeding the w number on the label by 1 times) and easily damaged, and the various sound quality indicators will also deteriorate a lot.

In addition, the impedance must be matched. As long as the impedance is the same, the power size is not the first priority. It doesn’t matter which one has greater power. Just don’t turn up the volume very high when using it.

Generally speaking, anything within 1 times the size is acceptable, and a speaker that is twice as large can also work normally, but the volume will be slightly lower than that with a normal speaker, but you cannot hear it with your ears alone.
