Servo electronic transformer is an ultra-small three-phase servo electronic transformer designed for the mismatch between the power grid and the AC servo motor voltage. It changes the problems of traditional coil transformers, such as large size, high heat generation, high power consumption, and difficult installation. It will not pollute the power grid. It is an ideal product for solving the power adapter problem in industrial control systems, and has a fundamental difference in performance from power frequency transformers.

Electrical characteristics of servo electronic transformers

Safe ground: The internal input and output circuits are isolated from the casing, and the common ground is brought out through the G terminal. Therefore, the G terminal must be manually connected to the casing with a wire. If not, the high-voltage common-mode voltage generated by lightning entering the input end of the transformer will not be discharged to the ground by the overvoltage protection circuit, but will be directly introduced into the driver input end.

Insulation withstand voltage: All input and output terminals are connected in parallel and the insulation resistance of the shell is tested at DC2500 for one minute. The insulation resistance is >1500 megohms.

Input to output isolation: No, not isolated.

Residual Voltage: The voltage between the input and output terminals is zero after the AC voltage is disconnected.

Servo electronic transformer environmental conditions

Operating temperature: -55-+55 degrees Operating humidity: 0-95%RH (non-condensing)

Storage temperature: -55 degrees - +85 degrees Storage humidity: 0-95% RH (non-condensing)

Heat dissipation: Good ventilation, or install a cooling fan outside the electrical box.

Advantages and disadvantages of servo electronic transformers

advantage:

1. Small size, light weight and high efficiency

2. Low heat generation, no noise, anti-interference, good electromagnetic compatibility

3. Strong instantaneous overload capacity, up to 3-5 times the rated current;

4. Superior performance, efficiency ≥ 99.8%;

5. Safe and reliable, with a five-year warranty and a design life of more than twenty years;

6. Can run in parallel.

shortcoming:

1. The servo electronic transformer is unstable

2. Poor impact resistance. The above is the analysis of electronic transformers, I hope it can help you.
