Car anti-theft system
A system designed to prevent the theft of a car or items on it. It consists of an electronically controlled remote control or key, an electronic control circuit, an alarm device, and an actuator. The earliest car door locks were mechanical door locks, which were only used to prevent the car door from opening automatically when the car was driving, and only played a driving safety role, not a theft prevention role. With the progress of society, the development of science and technology, and the continuous increase in car ownership, the doors of cars and trucks manufactured later were equipped with door locks with keys. This door lock only controls one door, and the other doors are opened or locked by the door lock button on the inner door of the car.
How to disable the immobilizer
Method 1: Open the hood and look for the alarm. You can find it by referring to the car maintenance manual. Usually, the car's anti-theft computer is installed under the steering wheel. If the central connector of the anti-theft device unplugs the power input line, the anti-theft device will lose its function. If the anti-theft device has added insurance, you need to find the fuse box and check whether your fuse box has the anti-theft fuse. Remove the fuse belonging to the alarm, that is, unplug the fuse, and the anti-theft device can be powered off.
Method 2: First open the trunk lid, close and lock all the car doors, insert and remove the ignition key more than 6 times within 10 seconds to clear the ID stored in the remote control, then use the door handle to manually switch and lock the driver's door, press the "Lock" button on the remote control once to enter the ID into the computer, and finally open the driver's door to interrupt the ID input mode.
Method three: first remove the remote control battery, press the "lock" button on the remote control once, then replace the remote control battery, then close and lock all car doors, insert and remove the ignition key more than 6 times within 10 seconds. This action will clear all original numbers (ID) of all remote control computers, and the overtaking lights will flash twice; then turn the key to the "ACC" position, press the "lock" button on the remote control once, and the remote control computer will memorize the ID of this remote control, then open the driver's side door to interrupt the ID input mode.
When the car has an alarm (such as illegal start, door vibration, system damage), the system will immediately call the alarm phone (mobile phone, landline) preset by the owner. It will also sound and light warnings, lock the circuit/oil line, so that the car cannot start before the alarm is cleared. In the event of robbery or car snatching, if the owner cannot get away, he can press a hidden button, and the system will immediately call the owner's preset emergency help phone. The alarm phone can be used to reverse control the hijacked vehicle to stop, monitor, shout, etc. If the owner can get away from the vehicle after being hijacked, he can use any phone to enter the system with a password to reverse control the hijacked vehicle to stop, monitor, shout, etc.
