Intel® Bridge Technology and Celadon Provide New Support for Android Ecosystem

In the ecological integration of Android and Windows, Intel® Bridge technology and Celadon have played a milestone role, making ecological integration possible. Intel® Bridge technology compiles non-x86-based instructions into x86 instructions to improve compatibility. Celadon, as an Android stack built for Intel architecture, can help developers quickly port and develop Android-based applications on the x86 platform to improve development efficiency. Driven by the two core technologies, the new ecosystem of mobile application engines has been perfectly implemented. Xie Xiaoqing, vice president of Intel Software and Advanced Technology Group and general manager of China, said: "Ecological integration is a major trend, and innovation is our DNA. We insist on empowering experience transformation through technological leadership. We are honored to be able to help Tencent App Bao through these two black technologies, Intel Bridge technology and Celadon, and successfully break the barriers between Android and Windows, not only bringing users the freedom of application from small screen to large screen, but also greatly improving the efficiency of porting and development for developers, entering a new chapter of PC application ecological integration."

Intel helps Tencent's PC version of App Store bring high-quality experience to Chinese users

Tencent App Store PC version, powered by Intel® Bridge Technology and Celadon, has three major advantages: a new mobile engine, fast batch adaptation, and native application experience. At the press conference, Tencent App Store PC version demonstrated the use of QQ Reading App and WeChat Reading App under Windows system. Users can start the application by simply clicking the desktop icon. When reading novels, users can enjoy functions such as page turning, split screen, horizontal and vertical screen reading, and can also zoom the window as needed to experience an operating experience similar to Windows native.

In addition, the computer version of Tencent App Store supports split-screen applications and the use of PC cameras, microphones and other functions, allowing users to use multiple applications at the same time to enhance the user experience. For example, users can watch videos on Kuaishou, read novels on Qidian, and enjoy comics on Tencent Comics at the same time. In the field of education and office, users can use applications such as 100words to memorize words and learn them conveniently on the big screen.

Cai Jiantao, the business manager of Tencent App Store for PC, said that App Store will actively explore the development strategy of multi-terminal and multi-modal, including the adaptation of more hardware devices and the distribution of content forms. In the future, App Store will also integrate AI capabilities in the distribution field to improve the distribution efficiency of developers and provide users with a better user experience.

We have seen more and more PC/mobile interoperable applications, and users have a stronger demand for seamless, high-quality and immersive experience. How to combine Intel's industry-leading AOW technology base and Tencent's App Store's rich content to present it to users through HP's reliable and high-quality terminals is what we are looking forward to and are actively promoting. In the face of the diverse needs of Chinese users, HP will continue to work closely with ecosystem partners to provide support for the symbiotic development of the mobile and PC ecosystems, and through in-depth optimization, mobile applications and content can also perform well on PC terminals."
