Overview and Features: TMC5041 is an IC integrated with controller and driver produced by TRINAMIC of Germany. It can independently drive two stepper motors at the same time. It is a powerful system-on-chip. It integrates complex SixPoint ramp generator and first-class diagnosis and protection functions in the industry in a micro 7 mm X 7 mm QFN package. It also adds StealthChop™ silent drive technology, SpreadCycle™ anti-shake technology, CoolStep™ current dynamic adjustment technology (energy saving 75%), DcStep™ torque regulation technology, and StallGard™ stall detection function.
It can effectively limit noise and prevent jitter in the following applications, usually in applications near operators, applications using multiple stepper motors, video surveillance applications where equipment close to walls and ceilings can amplify noise, and consumer applications such as home automation and air conditioning where users want to minimize noise.
