Although many people now advocate that the tertiary industry is the focus of a country's economic development, the actual situation is that without the support of the primary and secondary industries, the tertiary industry is a tree without roots. It does not create wealth, but only redistributes wealth. If a country wants to remain strong, its industrial strength must be reasonable. Why has our country's voice in the international community become more and more important in recent years? Because our industrial production capacity is second to none in the world. Of course, modern industrial production mainly relies on large-scale automated production. Whoever has high production efficiency and high technical level is really awesome.

So what is the core of automated production? Of course it is the controller. Without its coordination and scheduling, everything else is nonsense. Currently, the most common industrial automation control equipment is PLC, or programmable logic controller. It achieves multi-node coordination through three steps: information collection, program operation, and instruction output. It not only plays an important role now, but also has a very bright future.

From the above description, we can see that PLC is too important and has a bearing on the national economy and people's livelihood. If we do not have the ability to independently develop and produce this thing, and are held back by others, once there is a disturbance in the international community, the result is really hard to predict. Therefore, although the domestic PLC market is now full of foreign brand PLCs, we cannot lose the ability to automatically develop this kind of equipment, even if we imitate them first and form our own things in the process of improvement, we must not think that having ready-made ones will be enough.

In order to meet everyone's needs for domestic PLCs, we have developed a modular PLC that supports CANopen, uses openPCS software, and can use five programming languages.

Fault diagnosis from the situation outside the PLC
When the PLC does not start working as expected, it should be judged from the outside of the PLC first. In this way, misunderstandings that are not faults can be easily ruled out. If the PLC cannot enter RUN mode, you can use the following methods to determine if the problem is in the hardware or software

PLC function instructions: data types and addressing methods
Data Types 1. Word length The data stored in the storage unit (i.e. programming element) of S7-200 SMART PLC are all binary numbers. The length of the data is called word length, which can be divided into bit (1-bit binary number, represented by b), byte (8-bit binary number, represented by B), word (16-bi

What is a hard PLC? Characteristics of a hard PLC
What is a hard PLC? Strictly speaking, a hard PLC is a hardware or a dedicated ASIC chip that implements the execution of PLC instructions. A soft PLC uses some general-purpose CPUs or MCUs to implement the interpretation or compilation of PLC instructions. PLCs like Mitsubishi (FX) and Omron are mostly hard P

Siemens PLC, SIMATIC S7-1200 and S7-1500
Hackers are looking to rise to the top echelons of attack, achieving a single intrusion they can brag about for years. One of these brag-worthy hacks is gaining undetected access to code executed on a programmable logic controller (PLC). Why? Because these systems have a ton of memory protections that need to be byp

Can soft PLC replace traditional PLC?
Today, let’s discuss whether traditional PLC will be replaced by soft PLC? First, we need to explain the definition of soft PLC. Soft PLC is to integrate the functions of hard PLC into a software package, which is installed on an ordinary industrial computer to form a high-performance, feature-rich programmable

Let's talk about the rules of PLC programming
The steps of PLC programming are not complicated, but most engineers often think it is too simple and ignore many details. However, it is precisely these small details that will cause big troubles in the subsequent work. To avoid future troubles, you must strictly follow the steps. As the saying goes, there is no or

A brief discussion on the extensive timer logic using PLC programs
In process industries we deal with many processes, some of which run based on timers. Some processes take less time to run, while others take longer. Shorter processes will not be a problem, but processes that take longer will be a problem, especially with Siemens PLCs. The maximum time that the default S

Some ideas on PLC simulation control
Regarding analog quantity control, I think it is a bit difficult to use PLC. Although it can be realized, it is very cumbersome because PLC is not good at mixed operations of four arithmetic operations. For example, if you ask PLC to calculate A+B*CD, it has to be completed in 4 steps and cannot be processed all at
