6 Conclusion

The insulating bushing is one of the most important components of the transformer. The transformer is easily affected by the load current and working voltage during operation. If the general cap of the conductive rod of the winding lead-out wire is not installed properly, the contact area between the general cap and the conductive rod is reduced, and the connection is not firm and loose, which will cause the current conduction performance to decline and eventually cause abnormal temperature rise. In severe cases, the conductive rod thread will be damaged, the bushing seal will be destroyed, and accidents will occur in the bushing and transformer.


The internal installation of the bushing cap is a hidden project, so we must ensure a good acceptance, intervene from the installation stage, and strictly accept according to the installation instructions and acceptance procedures. At the same time, the operating personnel should focus on the temperature changes of the transformer bushing during daily inspections, discover heating defects in time, and avoid the expansion of heating points.
