Siemens 300 series PLC The PLC used in this case is 315-2DP. This model of PLC has two communication interfaces: MPI and DP.
First, connect 300PLC to Xingda Easy-control PLC to Ethernet module CHNet-S7300MD and communicate with the host configuration software through ModbusTCP or S7TCP
1. Create a new project and open it, right-click "IOServer Application Group" and select "Add New IOServer Application Group".
2. In the pop-up dialog box, enter the "Application Name" and click "OK".
3. Select "Device", right-click in the blank area on the right, and select "New".
4. Enter a name in "Device Name" and click "Next".
5. Select "S7_TCP" for "Acquisition Driver" and "Ethernet" for "Link Type", and click "Next".
6. Leave the default "Link Logical Name" and click "Next".
7. Select "S7-300 (TCP)" in "Device Series" and the format of "Device Address" is: IP address of CHNet-S7MPI:0:2. Here, the IP address of CHNet-S7MPI is 192.168.1.188. Click "Next".
8. Leave other parameters as default until completion.
