The motor operating environment is designed to be an indoor environment with an altitude of no more than 1000m and an ambient air temperature of -20 to +40°C, which varies with the seasons.
The explosion-proof motor type is basic type, suitable for indoor environment
Explosion-proof motor type - W is suitable for outdoor environments
Explosion-proof motor type - TH is suitable for indoor humid tropical environment
Explosion-proof motor type - WTH is suitable for outdoor humid tropical environment
Explosion-proof motor type - TA is suitable for indoor dry and tropical environments
Explosion-proof motor type - WTA is suitable for outdoor dry and tropical environments
Explosion-proof motor type - T is suitable for indoor tropical environment
Explosion-proof motor type - WT is suitable for outdoor tropical environments
Explosion-proof motor type - WF1 is suitable for medium-corrosive environments in the field
Precautions for operating explosion-proof motors
(1) Care should be taken to select the type of explosion-proof motor according to the use environment.
(2) Short circuit, overload, overheating, phase loss and other protections must be set strictly in accordance with the requirements, and these protection devices must be checked regularly to ensure their effectiveness.
(3) Non-professionals are strictly prohibited from disassembling or repairing any part of the motor.
(4) The following procedure should be followed to connect the power cord: After removing the junction box cover, unscrew the junction box, take out the rubber gasket in the inlet of the terminal block, and put these two parts on the cable. It should be noted that the inner hole of the rubber gasket must be the same as the outer diameter of the cable, and there must be no large gap. Otherwise, when the junction box is pressed, the rubber gasket and the cable cannot form a seal. In this way, when the junction box explodes, it will cause an explosion outside the motor, thus losing the flameproof function. Lead the cable into the box from the inlet of the junction box, and wrap the three core wires around their respective terminals (the mining motor also needs to wrap the grounding core wire around the grounding screw). Each core wire must be pressed neatly into the two bow washers, and then tighten the terminal nut. After the cable is connected, install the rubber gasket. Install the junction box and tighten the screws so that the end face of the junction box presses the rubber ring to completely tighten the cable.
(5) If disassembly or assembly is required, special attention should be paid to protecting the flameproof surface and winding from damage. If multiple units are disassembled or assembled at the same time, the disassembled parts should be stored separately and not mixed. If the disassembled parts are to be left for a period of time, the flameproof surface should be subjected to necessary rust prevention treatment.
