The first domestically produced computer in Chongqing was successfully rolled off the production line at Southwest Computer Co., Ltd., which means that the Chongqing Manufacturing Base of Domestic Computers of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation has officially started production.
It is reported that there are 9 products of 4 models in total that have been rolled off the production line this time, which are divided into two categories: general-purpose and special-purpose. The systems used are Loongson and Phytium chips respectively.

At present, Southwest Computer Company plans to invest a total of 100 million yuan, with 20 million yuan in the first phase, mainly to build a flexible production line, and 40 million yuan in the second phase, focusing on the construction of intelligent workshops, including motherboards and complete machine digitization, and establishing a corresponding R&D center to improve the level of domestic R&D. In terms of output, the first phase will produce 100,000 units per year, the second phase will produce 200,000 units per year, and the third phase will produce 500,000 units per year.
It is understood that the first domestically produced "Tianyue" computer is the first computer in Chongqing that has fully realized domestic production of all core components from chips, operating systems to motherboards. It was independently developed by the 706 Institute of the Second Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation and commissioned to Southwest Computer Company for production. It marks that Chongqing's domestically produced computers have achieved a "zero" breakthrough from scratch. It will inject stronger impetus and lay a more solid foundation for the development of the city's smart terminal industry, and is of great significance to improving Chongqing's smart terminal industry chain and accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading.
The Chongqing Manufacturing Base of Domestic Computers of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation is a domestic computer intelligent manufacturing production base jointly built by the 706 Institute of the Second Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation and Southwest Computer Co., Ltd. under Chongqing Mechanical and Electrical Group.
At present, Chongqing has formed about 20 integrated circuit enterprises, covering the entire industrial chain of chip design, manufacturing, packaging, etc., and has initially built a relatively complete integrated circuit industry chain. At the same time, Chongqing will achieve four "10 billion level" goals in integrated circuits: by 2022, Chongqing's integrated circuit sales revenue is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan, including 10 billion yuan in equipment and materials, 20 billion yuan in design companies, 30 billion yuan in packaging and testing, and 40 billion yuan in production and manufacturing.
