During the China Home Appliances and Consumer Electronics Expo in Shanghai on March 14, Yu Chengdong pointed out that Huawei's entry into the smart home field is to provide services and connections for the industry, atomize services, and penetrate and connect all applications and services through AI.
However, he also admitted, "Huawei also has selfish motives in doing IoT. Our goal is to increase the stickiness of smart terminal users. Therefore, Huawei IoT and Huawei mobile phones are an integral whole and cannot be separated. In the future, all your home hardware can be controlled through Huawei mobile phones." It will only focus on 10 full-scenario smart consumer businesses related to consumers' food, clothing, housing and transportation, such as mobile phones, smart audio, PCs, tablets, smart wearables, smart bracelets, smart watches, etc.
