Automotive-grade full-system full-frequency GNSS RF-SoC chip:
KT5030A not only meets the AEC-Q100 Grade2 standard, but also supports full-system full-frequency high-precision positioning, significantly improving positioning accuracy, fixation rate and reliability. It also supports L-Band, b2b PPP, and QZSS L6 satellite-based enhanced signal frequencies to achieve PPP precise single-point positioning, ensuring positioning continuity and high reliability of positioning accuracy in complex signal scenarios.
Leading anti-jamming and anti-spoofing capabilities:
KT5030A has a professional-grade anti-interference engine that can support multiple types of interference such as single-tone, multi-tone, narrowband, broadband, and frequency sweep, and can also resist multi-channel interference signals at multiple frequencies at the same time. In addition, KT5030A also supports automatic monitoring of interference frequencies, can avoid interference frequencies, can normally capture and track satellites in scenarios with multiple frequency interference, complete position calculation, and output high-precision position information.
Unique Beidou short message communication function:
In addition to RNSS services, KT5030A also supports BeiDou RDSS services. Through user responses, while completing positioning, it supports user position reporting to external systems, and can also achieve deep integration of positioning and communication. The chip integrates L-band RF transmission channels, can provide BeiDou short message RDSS services, and supports BeiDou III civil RDSS inbound, BeiDou III global signal inbound, and BeiDou II RDSS inbound.
Open application processor, supporting user secondary development:
KT5030A adopts a dual-core processor architecture, equipped with a leading high-performance application processor, with a main frequency of 600MHz, supporting double-precision floating-point processing, and can meet the computing power requirements of various application scenarios. At the same time, it provides an open processor platform mode to support users' in-depth secondary development. Users can use the original observations or PVT and RTK results on the application processor to carry out application-related development, such as customizing input and output protocols, collecting data from other sensors, and implementing customized high-precision positioning algorithms or algorithms fused with other sensors, thereby saving user-side computing power overhead and user development costs.
Secure boot secure loading mode protects user firmware security:
KT5030A provides users with a firmware protection mechanism and supports secure boot security loading mode. Users can set the bootloader by themselves, and use the user key for authentication and encryption to prevent malicious tampering or cracking. The key generated by the user can be saved in the eFuse. The application processor Bootloader is signed by Kaixin Technology and a signature check is performed during loading to ensure that the security mechanism is not bypassed and protect the user's firmware security.
Application scenarios:
Applied to vehicle-mounted terminal products such as P-BOX, ADAS domain controller, TBOX/OBU, etc., it provides high-precision position, speed, time and other spatiotemporal perception data for urban/high-speed NOA, V2X and other vehicle-mounted applications.
Future prospects:
At present, electrification and intelligence have led to significant developments in automotive chips. As the only sensor that can provide absolute position and time, GNSS has beyond-visual-range perception capabilities that other vision, millimeter-wave radar, and lidar cannot achieve, and has become an important configuration for high-level autonomous driving. In the future, with the rapid development of intelligent connected cars, the market penetration rate of high-precision GNSS positioning products will gradually increase, and is expected to reach an application scale of tens of millions.
